DRAMA PRODUCTIONS
At ECDS, our drama productions are a cherished tradition, showcasing our school-wide emphasis on the fine arts. Each year, we stage two major performances, including at least one musical, where every student from Kindergarten onward is invited to participate. This inclusive approach ensures that all children, regardless of experience, can shine on stage.
Beyond acting, our productions offer a unique opportunity for parents to get involved, contributing their talents to costumes, set design, and lighting. Students in grades 5 through 8 have the option to join, fostering a sense of choice and enthusiasm. These productions are more than performances—they are a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and community spirit that brings students, parents, and staff together.
FLORIDA MANATEE TRIP
Every February we fly to Florida for the manatee trip. This is an invitation only trip for 5-8th graders, who will be able to attend this play trip independently and are responsible enough to swim with these gentle giants.
field day
Our Annual Field Day is a beloved tradition that brings the entire ECDS community together for a day of fun, fitness, and friendly competition. Students of all grades participate in a variety of exciting outdoor activities and team challenges designed to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit.
