ECDS offers after-school supervision and a wide variety of activities for children of all grades. The program includes outdoor playtime, quiet homework time, arts and crafts, ball games, Foosball, Air Hockey, snacks, contests, movie “nights,” and more.

In addition to these activities, we offer extra after-school programs that run throughout the year. These programs change periodically and include engaging art programs such as drawing, sculpture, and painting, as well as robotics and other exciting clubs. Clubs are run by our after-school staff and specific school teachers, with payments made directly to the instructors.

All children are welcome!

This service is available on an everyday basis or as a drop-in, “I’m in the mood to stay today” option. It’s a great place for kids to socialize, receive homework help, participate in games, and get some fresh air and exercise while their parents are at work or running late.

Program Details:

• Hours: 3:15 PM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

• Rates:

  • 3:30 – 4:00 PM: $10.00

  • 4:00 – 4:30 PM: $15.00

  • 4:30 – 5:30 PM: $25.00

  • After a club: $15.00

  • Half days: $25.00 (regardless of pick-up time)

  • Last-minute guests: $25.00 fee without prior notice

  • Late pickup fee: Up to $25.00 for no call/no notice

Snacks are provided daily, and billing occurs on the 15th and 30th of each month. Payments can be made via cash, Venmo, or check. To reserve a spot, please email lindsay.benak@eastoncountryday.org or text 203.814.0284.

Pickup Instructions:
Parents should text the teacher hosting after-school upon arrival unless their child is in a club or regular 4:00 PM dismissal. Children will be dismissed together at the lower loop. Please notify the host teacher if picking up before or after 4:00 PM.
