For K-8:
All ECDS apparel requiring logos can be purchased at Land’s End or Dennis Uniform Store in Orange.
Pants: (trouser type only) or Long Shorts (skorts or skirts for girls): KHAKI, BLACK, OR NAVY
Shirts: All shirts must have collars. Oxford (button down), long or short sleeves; polos, long or short sleeves; or turtlenecks: SOLID COLORS ONLY: WHITE, MAROON, NAVY, or FOREST GREEN.
Sweaters: Solid colored cardigans, crew or V-neck pullovers; (no stripes or patterns): WHITE, MAROON, NAVY, or FOREST GREEN.
ALL GRADES MUST HAVE A WHITE ECDS T-SHIRT WITH THE COLORED BIRD LOGO TO BE WORN ON FIELD TRIPS. THESE ARE AVAILABLE AT DENNIS UNIFORM STORES.
Sneakers are recommended, or sensible shoes in black, brown or white. Matching socks. Please avoid shoes with thick tread – it brings in mud. Flip Flops are not allowed.
ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A FLEECE FOR INDOOR WARMTH! WHITE, MAROON, NAVY OR EVERGREEN (Forest green) preferably with ECDS Logo.
ECDS FORMAL DAYS or DRESS LOOK
“ECDS Look,” our formal uniform, is required for field trips/special occasions/picture day.
Grades K – 4: White collared shirt or blouse, Khaki “Dockers” type pants. Girls may wear khaki skirt, with white, navy, or maroon tights. Maroon sweater or fleece with logo, matching socks and nice shoes.
Grades 5 – 8: White button-down dress shirt and tie for boys, white collared blouse for girls. Khaki “Dockers” type pants. Girls may wear khaki skirt with white, navy, or maroon tights. Navy blazer with logo, matching socks, nice shoes.
* Girls may wear khaki skirt, with maroon tights if needed for warmth.
Monday-Thursday: No jeans or jean shorts, no stripes or patterns, no stretch or stirrup pants, no ripped or baggy pants, no short shorts, no mini-shirts or long skirts (skirts must be no longer than 1″ below knee, and no higher than 3″ above the knee). No T-shirts or sweatshirts (except the Phoenix bird!) No “bare looks”, even on non–uniform days. No inappropriate or valuable jewelry. No makeup. No high heels, sandals, clogs or boots. No hats worn in the building.
Friday is non-uniform day – clothes must be neat, appropriate, and unremarkable. No shirts with writing on them, no torn jeans, etc.
